At Escarpment Sports Medicine Centre, our vision is to serve patients with the highest level of integrity, respect, knowledge and professionalism; to listen and try to understand each individual patient’s needs, and to work together to achieve a common goal. We will utilize all aspects available to achieve the best overall outcome.

Providing access to a fellowship trained primary care Sports Medicine Specialist, an Orthopaedic Surgeon, and Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation professionals, Escarpment Sports Medicine Centre is greater Halton’s most comprehensive Orthopaedic & Sports Physiotherapy clinic.

Daniella Diniz

Daniella Diniz

Daniella graduated from the University of Western Ontario's physiotherapy program in 2001 where she was the recipient of the University Gold Medal Award in Physiotherapy. Prior to this she graduated with High Distinction from the University of Toronto in 1998 with an Honours Bachelor Of Science Degree in Biology & Forensic Sciences.

She is also qualified to practice Acupuncture, the training for which she completed at McMaster University (Medical Acupuncture Program). Daniella completed the Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy certification in October 2015 and is currently a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy. Daniella continues to pursue her personal interest in the treatment of golf injuries through the FitforeGolf series of courses.

Christine Stevenson

Christine Stevenson

Christine graduated from Queens' University in 2001 with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy. Prior to that, she completed an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology at the University of Guelph.

Christine successfully completed the Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy certification in December 2014 and is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy. Christine completed Acupuncture training (Level 1) through the Canadian Acupuncture Foundation of Canada and in March 2016 successfully completed certification in Integrated Dry Needling.

Christine has a special interest in Concussion management and was a medical services Volunteer covering the soccer venues for the Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games. Christine loves to watch her two boys play hockey and enjoys working on the bench as a hockey trainer for their teams.


 
Tyler

Tyler Czerny

Registered Physiotherapist

Tyler graduated from the University of Toronto MSc. Physical Therapy program in 2014. Prior to this, he completed his Honours Bachelor of Applied Science in Kinesiology degree from the University of Guelph-Humber and OTA/PTA diploma from Mohawk College. Having completed courses in Acupuncture, K-Taping, Levels 1 and 2 Orthopaedic courses as well as soft tissue release, Tyler incorporates a variety of different skills into his treatments. Tyler also plans on further advancing his skills through additional Manual Therapy courses and Dry Needling.

Tyler emphasizes a hands on approach to treatment using manual therapy techniques, exercise prescription specific to the goals of therapy and acupuncture when indicated. Tyler currently resides in Campbellville and is an avid mountain biker and snowboarder, and is also an avid soccer, football and hockey fan.

Jan Lopez

Jan graduated from McMaster University with a Masters Degree in Science (Physiotherapy) in 2015. Previously, he graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelor of Science (Kinesiology) in 2013. Jan has currently completed the Level 1 Orthopedic Manual Exam and is interested in pursuing further training with the Manual Level Courses. Other areas of interest include Sport Physiotherapy and Acupuncture.  Outside of the clinic, Jan enjoys playing basketball and weight lifting as well following the Raptors and Blue Jays. 


 
Ritchie

Ritchie Harding
Registered Massage Therapist & Registered Kinesiologist


Ritchie completed a  Bachelors degree in Physical Education and Kinesiology at University of Toronto in 2009.  To further his education, he successfully achieved a certification in massage therapy at Wellspring College of Massage Therapy and Aesthetics in 2013. Ritchie likes to incorporate a variety of muscle manipulations and therapy techniques in his treatment approach.  His passion for sports led him to train and gainfully compete in the 2003 Canadian Junior Track and Field Nationals in the 200m & 400m. He went on to play varsity football and track and field at University of Toronto.  He has also explored volunteer work, notably the provincial high school special needs Olympics in 2014. 

 

Rebecca

Rebecca Morley
Registered Massage Therapist

Rebecca has been working as a Registered Massage Therapist for over 10 years. She graduated from The Canadian Therapeutic College with first class honours and received the outstanding academic achievement award and valedictorian award. Rebecca has experience treating a number of conditions including neck, shoulder and back pain, fibromyalgia, arthritis, whiplash, headaches, sciatica and circulatory issues. She has also lead a number of infant massage workshops. Rebecca is passionate about living a healthy and active lifestyle and enjoys yoga, pilates and hiking.

Elisa Harrison graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Human Resources Management in 2000. She went on to graduate from the University of Western Ontario where she received her Professional Certificate of Pedorthics in 2002. Now, as a Certified Pedorthist (Canada), Elisa currently works in Milton, Collingwood and Guelph. In her free time, she keeps busy with her two kids and enjoys making jewellery, sewing and playing ultimate frisbee

Nicole Vann
Physiotherapy Assistant

Nicole graduated from Mohawk College after completing the Occupational/ Physiotherapist Assistant program in 2012. She has continued her education with courses in the techniques of applying K-Tape, as well as Shockwave Therapy. Her role in the clinic is implementing the treatments laid out by the Physiotherapists for clients. She is also responsible for all Custom and Off-The-Shelf bracing done through the clinic. During her spare time she enjoys staying active at the gym.
