Daniella Diniz

About Daniella

B.Sc.(P.T.), Hons. B.Sc.(F.Sc.) FCAMPT, CIDN, MCPA

 Daniella graduated from the University of Western Ontario’s physiotherapy program in 2001 where she was the recipient of the University Gold Medal Award in Physiotherapy. Prior to this she graduated with High Distinction from the University of Toronto in 1998 with an Honours Bachelor Of Science Degree in Biology & Forensic Sciences.
She is qualified to practice Acupuncture, the training for which she completed at McMaster University (Medical Acupuncture Program). She also completed a certification in Integrated Dry Needling in 2017. In terms of advancing her manual therapy skills, Daniella completed the Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy certification in 2015 and is currently a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). Daniella’s passion for continuing education has motivated her to offer clinical placements for physiotherapy students from the University of Toronto and McMaster University. She is also an instructor for the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association AIM program where she assists physiotherapists further their orthopaedic and clinical reasoning skills. Most recently, Daniella has completed additional training and is a Sport Physiotherapy Canada Certificate holder. This allows her to continue to support athletes as a trainer/therapist on the bench for hockey, volleyball and soccer teams. 

Gowshigan Bhuvanendrarajah

About Gowshigan
Gowshigan graduated from the University of Toronto’s physiotherapy program in 2017. Prior to this he graduated with Magna Cum Laude & Honours from York University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology and Health Science. Since graduating, Gowshigan has completed several courses in manual therapy, acupuncture, taping, McKenzie treatment approach, vestibular therapy and concussion therapy. Currently he is working towards his manual therapy designation through the Orthopedic Division. Outside of the clinic, Gowshigan enjoys traveling and staying active through running, biking and playing basketball.

Nidhi Bhagat

About Nidhi
Nidhi is a Physiotherapy Resident dedicated to helping clients move better and manage pain effectively. She began her career as a Registered Kinesiologist after graduating from the University of Waterloo. Her passion for understanding human anatomy and physiology led her to pursue her Master’s in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. Currently, she is advancing her manual therapy skills through the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) Physiotherapy Program.

Her treatment approach is rooted in collaboration, ensuring that therapy is seamlessly integrated in her patient’s daily routines. She also places a strong emphasis on injury prevention and lifestyle modification.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Nidhi has had a lifelong passion for physical activity. For 15 years, Nidhi enjoyed practicing and then teaching Taekwondo, and swimming. Her current hobbies include strength training, Garba (a traditional dance), and playing board games with friends. Nidhi speaks conversational Gujarati.

About Nikita

Nikita is an accomplished and devoted physiotherapist who is committed to assisting patients in achieving their maximum potential in terms of mobility and health. Her areas of specialty include sports injury rehabilitation, chronic pain management, post-surgical recovery, musculoskeletal care, and neurological rehabilitation. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy and has experienced over 9 years in Physiotherapy field. Nikita started her academic career in Canada as an international student, graduating from Humber College’s North Campus with a diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion.
Nikita creates individualized therapy regimens for a wide variety of patients at our clinic with the goals of regaining movement, reducing pain, and enhancing general quality of life. She approaches physiotherapy holistically, empowering individuals during their recuperation by combining practical methods with patient education.

Nikita likes to travel with her spouse when she’s not working. In order to provide the best possible care, she is committed to remaining up to date on the most recent advancements in physiotherapy.

About Erica
Erica has been practicing since 2020 after graduating from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. She is an evidence based chiropractor who uses diversified techniques to treat her patients. She utilizes spinal and extremity manipulative therapy, joint mobilization, soft tissue therapy, myofascial release therapy, modalities such as shockwave and acupuncture, and rehabilitative exercise. Erica enjoys treating clients of any age. She tailors’ treatment to the individual’s goals and preferences. Her goal is to provide high quality care, education and injury prevention.

Erica takes pride in continuing to grow as a professional through continuing education opportunities. Erica has taken courses in grow co post partum care, TMJ diagnosis and management, PIPs technique (Paediatric Intra-Oral Palate Specific Technique), GL:AD Canada (hip and knee osteoarthritis exercise management), chronic pain diagnosis and management and much more.

Outside of the clinic, you can find her enjoying the hiking trails within the Halton Conservation area, cooking and baking and spending time with loved ones.

Michael Wong

Athletic Therapist & Massage Therapist

About Michael
Graduating from the Athletic Therapy program at Sheridan College in 2017 has given him a strong foundation in understanding and addressing various musculoskeletal issues in patients. He has worked with a diverse range of patients, from different age groups to various activity levels and professions. He currently is the Athletic Therapist with League One Ontario’s Scrosoppi Football Club and is involved in the enhancement of the sports medical aspects of the club’s program. This broad experience allows him to adapt his approach to the unique needs and goals of each individual.

Michael’s treatment philosophy, which combines manual therapy and exercise prescription, aligns well with modern rehabilitation practices. This approach focuses on restoring mobility and promoting proper movement patterns. Emphasizing respect for the body’s natural healing stages shows a patient-centered and holistic perspective on rehabilitation.

Additionally, Michael’s dedication to continuous learning is evident in his pursuit of the Registered Massage Therapist designation, which will likely further enrich his skill set and broaden his scope of practice. His previous experience as a Vision Therapy practitioner adds another layer to his multidisciplinary background, potentially allowing him to draw from diverse fields when assessing and treating patients.

Julia Dunn

About Julia
Having completed two years of intensive theoretical and clinical training, coupled with an array of volunteer outreaches, Julia completed her advanced Massage Therapy diploma at Mohawk College with Honours. She has had experience treating a variety of populations from those suffering from chronic pain conditions, hospice residents and staff, retirees, casual and professional athletes, to those just looking to de-stress from life. She is trained in Swedish massage, Joint Mobilization, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release Techniques, PNF Stretching, and Remedial Exercise. She adapts her skills within each unique treatment based on the client’s needs and comfort level, whether that be a deep tissue massage or a light touch.

Julia’s passion for helping others, coupled with her personal experiences living and treating her own conditions, results in a nurturing and holistic approach to her treatments. Julia is a firm believer that at least one hour of self-care a day is essential for the body and mind.
